The fourth test match of the five-match series between India and England is being played at The Oval in London. On the fourth day of the match, Team India set a target of 368 runs for victory in front of England, in response to which the hosts scored 77 runs without losing a wicket till the end of the day’s play.
No bowler has been able to take a wicket in the second innings so far and in such a situation, the fans are missing R Ashwin a lot. Ashwin has not played a single match in this Test series and there has been a lot of criticism for the team management and captain Virat Kohli for not playing him.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that if Ashwin had been playing in this Test match, there would have been no chance of England winning, but the match is currently open for both the teams.
According to Vaughan, any team can win from here. For India, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma could not play in this match due to injury. In their place, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav got a chance in the team.

Another user pointed to India’s struggle to pick wickets on day 4 and said India missed Ravi Ashwin badly.
Ravindra Jadeja has been included in the playing XI as the only spinner in this series. Team India has come to play with four fast bowlers and one spinner in this entire series.
In the second innings, India scored 466 runs and set a big target of 368 in front of England. Haseeb Hameed 43 and Rory Burns are playing on 31 runs.
